About Us

Just like the title of the blog reads, pretty much every day is a dad day for me. To those of you who do not know me, my name is John A. Morgan and I am the father of an energetic, charming, amazing, and super active 5-year-old boy named Carter. Since he was born he has been the center of my world, and most of my days have revolved around him. I am in no way a parenting expert, as some days I have no idea what I am doing! It has been an amazing, surreal, and humbling experience being his dad so far. I wouldn’t change anything about it. I absolutely love everything about being a dad, and I’m here to share my perspective on what I believe is one of the most important jobs a man will ever have in his life.

Some of what you read is going to make you laugh, some of it will bring tears to your eyes. I will say that you will rarely ever be bored reading what is written. There is no training, no manual on being a father, it’s a skill that you learn on the go. You will make mistakes, and you will make strides in triumphs in ways you didn’t even think about before. I am a work in progress, but each day I strive to be a better father than I was the day before. I pride myself on being a father, and my hope is to shed light on fathers that are doing the right thing by their families and children. Often, fathers are portrayed in a negative light, and I would like to change the narrative by highlighting the great things fathers go through as well as our common struggles. So, kick back, relax and enjoy the many stories and experiences that you can probably relate to, or never even heard of!
