Carter Turned 5!
So, Carter's 5th birthday was in March and we had all of these plans for his party right? Yeah so, the corona virus told us to chill out.
Actually, the virus told EVERYONE to chill out. It was a huge adjustment with taking him out of school for the month of April while the virus was in full swing. There was a lot of homeschooling, and a WHOLE LOT of playing. This boy wore me out!!
On his actual birthday in March, we explained to him that we had to push the party to a later date, and he was surprisingly OK with it. Ironically, the birthday that he only had cupcakes and popsicles at home, was his self professed best birthday. I guess the ones we have spend hundreds of dollars on wasn't good enough, LOL.
Carter is a huge fan of Lion King, so we decided to give him a Lion King themed party. Well, my wife decided and I just said cool, take my money. We had to take the proper precautions for all the kid's safety that attended. We had a huge surprise in store for our prince though. He had no idea his cousins were going to be in town from Indianapolis, IN to attend his party! He was overjoyed and so happy when he found out!
We had a nice turn out for his party. My wife got all the kids Lion King themed masks, we had all the Lion King accessories as well as an awesome cake. We were so ecstatic that he could finally have the party that he deserved to have. All of the kids had a great time, and we were extremely happy to add to his good memories and to see his beautiful smile once again.
That was a pretty cool party!
